As an Interviewee, you can sign in to the app by clicking the ‘login’ button in the NowMax e-mail you will find in your inbox.
Of course, it’s the most exciting feature of NowMax remote interviews! As an Interviewee, you will receive a recording request from the Interviewer. You will need to give your permission for the recording to start. You are also able to pause and stop the HD recording of a remote interview.
On the Interviewee’s side, the recording button will appear in the lower right corner. Pressing this button, will pause or stop the current recording.
If you want any of the video call screens enlarged, you can just click on their side of the screen. Your share of the screen will become a little smaller by doing so, and vice versa.
Before it is transferred to the NowMax servers, your local recording is temporarily stored on your mobile device (you won’t be able to find it, though). Before starting a recording, you should make sure that you have enough storage capacity available.
The rule of thumb is that an HD video recording of 1 minute would require between 30 and 45 Megabytes. In comparison, you would require one Gigabyte of free space for a recording of respectively 33 to 22 minutes.
Within the video call, you can check your available disk space by checking the ‘Status’ tab. The recording is automatically deleted after it has been uploaded.
